Do this process in layers to create a textured-looking color coat leading from the tail to the head and face of your dinosaur drawing. Continue this process using lighter green, white, and tan paints. Repeat this step using a pattern brush or rough brush to dab spots in between the first texture coat using a darker shade of blue. Use the same brush as previously and light blue paint, and dab spots along the tail leading onto the main body, outer area of the legs, and onto the head. Complete this step by painting the under-belly area of the T-rex with light mustard yellow paint. Repeat this step using a fine brush and dark brown and navy blue paints, and add fine structure lines. Step 12: Add Structure to Your T-Rex Sketchīegin by using a small, soft brush and black paint, and add shading along the edges of the head, body, and legs. Use a fine, sharp brush and white paint to fill the teeth of your T-Rex drawing. Continue using a fine brush and yellow paint, and paint in the eye. Use the same brush as previously and switch to dark brown paint, and begin to evenly color the mouth of your dinosaur drawing. Step 10: Color the Mouth of Your Dinosaur Make use of a regular brush and dark green paint, and evenly coat the entirety of your T-Rex drawing. Once completed, erase any visible construction or overlapping lines. On the face draw a small circle to represent the eye. Within the mouth, draw teeth with sharp edges on the top and bottom of the mouth. The lines within the mouth should be drawn roughly. ![]() Step 7: Outline the Mouth to Your T-Rex Sketchĭraw the curving, sharp end to the top of the mouth and a smoother end to the bottom of the mouth. Complete this step by drawing a second partially visible hand, from the opposite side of the main body, extending out. In this step, draw the first hand overlapping the main body. Each foot should have the visible claws extended out. Use the previously drawn construction lines to aid you in outlining more realistic-looking T-rex legs. Complete this step, by drawing the second leg further away to the right side. Draw the second part of the leg as a smaller oval shape. The head should like rigged and roughly outlined, while the body should look less rough.
